"Bring together a diverse, international network of development practitioners to strengthen impact on processes of social change. By sharing field experiences, facilitating capacity building and encouraging the use of participatory practices, RCPLA will positively influence development initiatives while working towards qualitative social advancement, equity and justice."

In 2006 RCPLA will be hosting two e-mail discussions on two different Participatory Themes. The aim of the e-discussion is to provide a place where participants can share their knowledge and experiences and information about practices, projects, methodologies, theories and research where the participatory approach has been implemented. It is a place where participants can feel free to raise questions, queries and critiques about the relationship between different participatory themes and development.
